Ring Sizing
Method One: The String or Paper Method
Wrap a thin strip of paper or a piece of string around the base of your finger, where a ring would normally sit. Mark the point where it overlaps, then lay it flat and measure the length in millimetres. Compare that measurement against a standard ring size chart to find your size.
Timing Matters: A Few Tips
Measure at the end of the day, when your fingers are at their largest, and avoid measuring when your hands are cold, both affect the result by half a size or more. If you're between two sizes, size up rather than down, a ring that's slightly loose is easier to adjust than one that doesn't fit at all.
Method Two: Use an Existing Ring
If you already own a ring that fits the intended finger well, measure its inner diameter in millimetres against a ring size chart, or take it to any local jeweller for a quick, free measurement.
